D’amato’s is a place if you know you know if you don't now you know. It's a local spot to the West town near the River West area. We've drove past a handful of times because my girlfriend lives in the area and we finally got the chance to ...

D'Amato's is really a great spot. They're fresh, genuine, and everything tastes fantastic. Cannolis are so good, I only get them from here. I've gotten the focaccia bread many times, it's soooo good! Cookies, pastries, and other breads have also been reliable and tasty. Can't wait to try their chicken caesar sub next time. Although the inside has little to no seating, in the summer I have enjoyed their outside tables.

I first chanced upon this bakery six years ago while visiting a friend in Chicago, and I had been wanting to return for its baked goods and pizza ever since. I finally made it back, and the cookies, cannolis, and pizza were just as delicious and comforting as I remembered. The staff was incredibly helpful, giving off some youthful yet genuinely warm and down-to-earth energy. I’m already looking forward to my future visits to D’Amato’s.

First off - The best chicken cutlets! We shared the chicken caesar vodka chicken parm. D’Amato’s is hands down one of my favorite places in Chicago. The most delicious Italian sub sandwiches and cookies. Warm and welcoming service - ALWAYS!

It was our first time here, the other customers were so friendly and offered suggestions of their favorite foods and cookies. They were right on time, the Caesar chicken cutlet sandwich and ricotta cookies were delicious! The Italian bread was fresh!

I went for the vodka chicken parm- it was very good, enjoyed it immensely. Great spot, really liked the vibe. Picked up some pastries for the wife and kids- damn near perfection. I’m going back to try the Italian sub and to try their pizza which looked phenomenal.
